Aaliyah Cook-Ali is an entrepreneur, community advocate, and the Founder, President, and Board Chair of The Legacy of Her Foundation. Her journey as a woman, mother, business owner, and community leader inspired her to create an organization centered on helping women move forward through every stage of life.
Aaliyah founded The Legacy of Her Foundation with the belief that women should have access to resources, opportunities, education, advocacy, and meaningful support when navigating life's challenges and pursuing their goals.
Through the Foundation, she is building programs focused on workforce development, housing and homelessness prevention, mental health and wellness, domestic violence advocacy, entrepreneurship, education, food assistance, and other essential community needs.
In addition to her nonprofit leadership, Aaliyah has years of entrepreneurial experience and understands firsthand the determination required to build, rebuild, and continue moving forward. She brings that perspective into the Foundation's approach in creating pathways that recognize where a woman is today while helping her work toward where she wants to be tomorrow.
Her vision for The Legacy of Her Foundation extends beyond providing temporary assistance. She is committed to developing an organization that connects women and families with resources, skills, opportunities, and supportive relationships that can contribute to lasting stability and growth.
